Picked up an original owner collection last week, will be offering them up here over the next week/two/three.

The rules:

I accept first unconditional  here in the thread or PM, text, email, phone call or smoke signal from comicdonna, timestamp wins. Payment due within 7 days unless arranged before "I'll Take It".  I accept Paypal, checks, MOs(sorry no International money orders).  Please do not edit "I'll Take It" posts or post "I'll Take It" unless you are going to complete the transaction.  I'll accept returns within if item is not as described, undisclosed restoration within 30 days, no returns on slabs. No HOS or Probation list members please.

Collection history-

Books were picked of the rack by the original owner in his parent's drug store.  Some issues in this collection also have an arrival date which would also have been added by him as he managed the comics at the store.  OO was a Marvel fan so no SA DCs in this batch.

After heading off to college the books were stored in his parents basement for 30 years, got bagged in the 90s.  Overall the books are very nice structurally, have GREAT cover colors/gloss but many were affected by moisture over the years of being unprotected.  Some defects may be light tanning/tanning inside cover edges, pages cream at edges to offwhite interior, any staple rust will be noted but there were not many to note. I have tried to grade these conservatively due to the moisture, the books look mucho betterer in hand and I think the buyers should be pleased.*

*I got feedback these week from some buyers that revived the books and agreed they looked better in hand(they can chime in if they want to!)

This round will have Avengers, Captain Marvel & Daredevil, iffin I can get more prepped for tomorrow I will add them.

I'll start with the higher numbers and work down.

This first batch of Avengers is an example of copies that do not have inside cover halos(unless noted) and have generally whiter back covers, again nice solid copies.  There are a couple of other titles from this collection are are similar(they will be noted as well).
