Sub-Mariner 35 9.0 white pages $85.  Small dints at ends of spine, slight miscut, probably due to top staple placement.  Stamp on BC.  Awesome Silver Surfer / Avengers cover!!  Second Defenders.

Tales of Asgard 1 ?? ow/w pages $25. Book looks 9.0 – soft lower corners FC, but has weird sparkly veins across gloss on front and back covers, which has mottled the inks, particularly the red ones. Kind of an interesting curiosity piece.

Tales of Suspense 43 solid 6.0 ow pages $200.  Marvel overhang wear, and chip at right edge FC.  Actually, this is a pretty nice copy - the early TOSs are usually beat to carp. It has the purchase date written in ink at top of first interior page.  Age discoloration along spine. Fifth appearance of Iron Man.

I just stopped in to threadkrap and join you in bewilderment over the lack of love for MSH 14. I guess most people don't know it's a new story, not a reprint?   It's also the first Ross Andru on Spidey, and the blue android he's fighting is clearly a Vision predecessor (by four months); very similar powers. Cool story too.

Tales to Astonish 42 5.0/5.5 OW pages, $70.   Ant-Man #9.  Nice presenting copy with an accumulation of defects that keep the grade down, including sunshadow on back cover.

Tales to Astonish 56 copy b 7.0 ow pages $35.  USAF Moldybutt Collection with Certificate of Authentication from the Flaming Sociopath himself!  I think this presents much better than the assigned grade – 7.5?  ¼” tear at center bottom below the book, vague creasing @ LRFC. Bundle tie dints BC bottom center, Left center, and rumple @ center upper edge BC.

Thor / Journey into Mystery 91 4.0 ow pages $80.  Wear includes…, tear at upper staple FC, 1/3” and ¼” tears right edge FC, ¼” tear BC, small stains/schmutz BC, area of light schmutz FC above Thor’s left hand, smudge in Loki’s word balloon.  Despite all that, still a serviceable copy.

Thor / Journey into Mystery 106 7.0/7.5 OW pages $90.  Some spine stress, tear above “y” in “Mystery” travels thru book to BC, additional 1/4” tear at top edge BC.  Very clean and white covers.

Thor/Journey into Mystery 109 6.5/7.0 white pages $109. Magneto appearance.  Rubbing wear on edges of FC, scuff @ Thor’s armpit, ¼” crease @ URFC, ¾” crease at ULBC.  The arc that runs thru Thor’s foot is an old, light pressure dent, NOT a drink ring.
