  1. Barely been collecting these things and already, mistakenly, have acquired dupes in thread rules Payment via PayPal Shipping 5.00 Returns accepted. Both books are in VG+. 30.00 per book or 50.00 for both. Will trade for paperbacks or cool HG paper ephemera. Will make up the difference in price if the trade is lopsided. Thanks for looking-John
  2. I have been on the fence, but I will buy slabbed pulps eventually. 1 factor for CGC: Old grading of Fair G/VG and fine doesn't say enough about the grade for me. Like anything, all pulp seller's grading is not created equal. Tired of buying fines that don't seem/feel fine to me. 1 against: Just because it's graded doesn't mean it's a 600 dollar pulp. I have seen too many "common" pulps immediately go to 300 and higher for books you can get(if you can find a reliable seller) for 50 to a hundred bucks. So, if prices start adjusting to reality, I will probably buy graded books just so I can "rely" on the grade. If, everything gets graded, I will probably quit pulps and stick with paperbacks.
  3. A few new ones. Not as happy with the grades stated vs. actual but they were reasonably priced. Maybe once people stop with the CGC markup, it might be worth buying a few. Love this cover A Few Bergley’s and a Belarski And a nice looking Planet
  4. I saw all those Belarski posts and had to have at least one.
  5. Only one vintage, but I did complete my Glen cook paperback collection today! Much nicer than the scan.
  6. A few new ones: I go back and forth on wether I like Dell's, Avon's or Ace cover artists the best: An all-time favorite: And bought this for the synopsis alone:
  7. Thanks to Lowell for bringing this title to my attention. Found a close to unread copy for pretty cheap:
  8. Maybe I won't be on a 3-day work weekend this time
  9. And these weird ones: 34 bids 375.00 Best offer accepted 399.00 Here's a high priced vintage: The Little People 350.00 Anyway, thought is was interesting what people were buying. The Sexuality of Housewives(nonfiction) went for 350 also!
  10. That Terror Tales and Horror Stories are sweet! Well, they are all nice, I just especially like those 2.
  11. So, I was looking at pb values of items sold most recently on eBay this morning. Out of the sold items on the first page of the search there were only 2 "vintage" pb's that made the list: Orgy of the Dead 699 best offer accepted The Price of Salt 399 The rest: people really like the Halloween set of books, The Black Awakening(about the rise of the Satanic Super-Soldiers apparently nonfiction), and Goosbumps. Don't know if it's relevant to what we collect, but thought it was interesting that post 1980 books were the high point of recent sales. I'll dive deeper into the second and third pages later. What do you guys think? 25 year rule?
