Blue vs. Green label for my Walking Dead #192

Hi everyone,

Im a casual comic collector and have only ever submitted a few books to get graded. I rarely deal with CGC mainly because i don't feel like i have anything worthy enough for the service or the cost is too high on books already graded.

That being said, I guess you could consider me a newbie when it comes to CGC and am looking for some advice. I recently purchased a copy of The Walking Dead #192 signed by Kirkman and Adlard that came with a COA from Skybound. Apparently, this came from the Skybound Retailer cocktail reception with Robert Kirkman at SDCC and was one of the items in a goodie bag that was given out. The goodie bag included this book and a 9.8 graded copy of the last issue. Apparently it was one bag per store and the store owner i bought it from claimed there were only a few dozen people in attendance, so not many of these were given out.

Obviously I cannot get a yellow label on this, but have been wondering what would you think is the way to go. Would you put a request for them to put a blue label or take the green label?

Just to give some context, i bought this book for $100 and I mainly just wanted it for my personal collection - especially seeing the book has finally come to an end. I want to get it graded and slabbed just for my own peace of mind knowing this thing could easily get damaged by my own hands. Damaging this book is something i desperately want to avoid, especially knowing i paid so much for it. But as I've been researching online, i don't know which label i would prefer. A knocked down blue label or a higher grade green label?

I am very confident that it would grade very high if it were sent in unsigned. Ive also never seen this blue sleeve the book came in. The book appears to have been very well protected by Skybound. It's in excellent condition. Im not experienced at grading, but to me, this looks like its in excellent, high grade condition. (BTW, i wonder if this special protector is how skybound sends their books in to guarantee their 9.8 like the ones they gave out in the goodie bag with this copy or the signed SS ones they were selling at their booth this year?)

So what would you prefer or suggest I do with this book? I know i want it slabbed for sure just to keep it well protected, but id also like for it to be the best label/grade possible if i ever make plans to let this go.

Also, whenever i do choose to submit this book, would you keep the COA at home or send it together?
