SHOCK SUSPENSTORIES #14
Grade: 7.5 VF -
Price: $300

MAY 1954; Cream to off white pages. Dr. Wertham must have had a field day with this title. Wally Wood gives the would-be Keeper of the Nations Morals more fodder for his witch-burning with this cover of a poor guy trying to stop rounds from a tommy gun, with predictable results. The issue wound up being used in the Senate investigation hearings, a sure sign of an excellent issue. Wood, Jack Kamen, Bernie Krigstein, and George Evans toiled on the interior art. From the Gary Arlington collection, known for bright colors and supple pages. COA included.
