White out on cover 0

Hey everyone. I have an original copy of The Amazing Spiderman Annual #1. It is in pretty decent condition except for one thing. Someone stamped a date on the cover, then tried to white it out. How bad will this affect the grading of this book?

Can you post a pic? Sadly, trying to correct a date stamp caused more trouble than the date stamp.

Yup. This makes me sad that someone did that.

it would hurt the comic more than a date stamp.. some collectors like the date stamp myself included as I think its cool to see the history if the comic... 

I would contact a pro at resto removal as I know this probably wont count as resto but see if they might be able to take the white out off the page depending how bad it is. kind of like CT removal. Not sure though as the outline of the date stamp might be there unless they did the white out as a box or followed the text.
