Avengers 1 is the winner at $36k.  All Winners came in second at $27k.

I’m so disillusioned.  I think I’m going to go lie down now . . .

I also predicted that you would need to lie down. :acclaim:

I bought the All winners #19 from CL.... quite frankly its one of a kind in its rarity..I love the book..and IMO there's no comparison to Avengers 1.. I've had Avengers 1 multiple times in high grade..Question is what happens when more and more silver age books enter the census in high grade, will popularity keep up? Perhaps in the short term but maybe not in the long term?

All Winners #21 was one of the first golden age books I bought ..

I was 12 when I  ordered a Flash 7 from Howard Rogofsky in the 70's, instead, I received a All Winners 21 in pretty nice shape but with clear tape down the spine. I was told he often would send another book randomly in exchange... that is if he had already sold the ordered book. I was thrilled with the deal and have since loved this title.

popularity may be there, not so sure about prices

This thread brings to mind the question of why the super-team never really caught on in the Golden Age. Other publishers followed DC's lead of putting multiple popular characters on the cover of the same book, but other than the half-hearted attempt with the AWS at the twilight of the heroic era, I can't think of any other publisher that put together an actual team. Even the JSA was barely a team in most of its GA history, as everyone  went out on their individual but inter-related adventures only to congregate briefly for the finale.

It seems like GA publishers put much more stock in kid sidekicks than team-ups, something that would reverse itself for the Silver Age.
