The front seems solid but the back perplexed me. Mystery tanning/foxing has me wondering what it does to the grade as a whole.

Front cover, bottom left corner looks soft and top right corner has two small color-breaking creases (plus a dirt outline just below that corner). I'm wondering how much the back would improve with a good cleaning?

Hard to say but, it most certainly couldn't hurt to have it done
