catrick339
Coronet Magazine V11 #1, November 1941 Digest sized picture and article magazine, and for the date pretty risque'. Article on highlights of New York has a couple pages on burlesque, including a b&w photo of a topless burlesque queen, there's another b&w photo of a cute topless blonde, and the magazine has three one-fold gatefolds tipped in, two of high art and one in color of a nude sunbather, tastfully facing away from the camera. Hot stuff for a 1941 newsstand mag. But the highlight for us comic types is a six page article with photos and short bios of Chic Young, Ham Fisher, Al Capp,. Milt Caniff, and our favorite duo, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Their photo shows them at the drawing board with a couple pages of EARLY Superman art Adding on some pix and scans, Asking $20 SOLD!
