These are the top 5 that I can think of. Order is up for argument.  Which one (s) am I missing ? 

1. Joker 

2. Superman The Movie 

3. Captain America : The First Avenger 

4. The Dark Knight 

5  Wonder Woman 

im not counting main characters from a different age ( ie Batman begins , dark knight rises , etc).  Id throw Supe 2 in the mix but I can’t remember when Zod showed up in comicdom. Would anyone include  man of steel ?

Joker is now the highest grossing adult movie ever.

If featuring a Golden Age character is the sole criteria then the top five, in order, would be

  • Avengers Endgame
  • Avengers Infinity War
  • The Avengers
  • Avengers - Age of Ultron
  • Captain America Civil War

You sure it isn't Earth-1 Superman? Which I know technically is Silver Age, but I don't recall the GA Supes being able to fly so fast he can turn back time.
