Vintage Concert Posters For Sale!! Woodstock & More!!
4 4

136 posts in this topic

Hi, I am posting a longtime collection of concert posters that are from Stuart Spector (founder of Spector Bass), the majority were purchased through Art Rock over the years.  This first batch consists of rolled posters mostly from the 60s including original Woodstock and Wallkill posters.  There are nearly 200 items in the collection, I will do batches in threads over the next few weeks.  Great stuff to look at even if you are just browsing!

The rules:

I accept first unconditional & unedited  :takeit:with item info here in the thread or PM, text, email, phone call or smoke signal from comicdonna, timestamp wins(I get emails of all posts and PMs for timestamps). Payment due within 7 days unless arranged before "I'll Take It".  I accept Paypal, checks, MOs(sorry no International money orders).  Please do not edit "I'll Take It" posts or post "I'll Take It" unless you are going to complete the transaction.  I'll accept returns mailed within 7 days if item is not as described, undisclosed restoration within 30 days, no returns on slabs. No HOS or Probation list members please.

Shipping in US is $10 for up to (4) posters, $20 for 4-8 posters, PM for international details.

Unless noted the posters have very little wear, they have been stored rolled for years(as purchased).  CGC does offer grading service for posters up to 23x29" (I haven't tried it yet). Information regarding what prints the posters are can be found at Classic Posters, a cool site!

First up...

Woodstock was originally scheduled to be held in Wallkill, NY before "Wallkill Zoning Board of Appeals officially banned the concert on the basis that the planned portable toilets would not meet town code" and the rest is history.  This poster was created for the original location, measures 13x22", small crease upper left corner, right edge photo shows a small light water spot(might be hard to see), poster had been in a frame for decades but was unmounted so no stains to back of poster though it does have a very slight ripple to it that should flatten.  Beautiful poster! $400 shipped SOLD!!

Wrapped in a spoiler so no one gets offended by the image

Pulps and other non-comic items from the G/S/B era get posted in this Forum regularly, this is not a Mixed Age thread.
