Cover is detached. Centerfold is attached. Comic is complete. Paper is nice Supple Off-White. Bottom Edge Chipping-Not Brittle although looks like it from a pic. Book was subject to silver fishing (tiny bugs that make holes. Bug chews through many of the top margins-does not affects stories at all. 2 inch spine split on top. Very nice colors. Discoloration bottom of inside front cover & on 1st few bottom margins. It is not soiling-Paper is nice & smooth-Extremely nice 1940 Comic! Paper loss on bottom left corner-now rounded. Paper loss around staples on wraps.
