I can never find a legit unpublished Snoopy by Schulz: Here is some red meat for you beasts before round 2 at HA gets going. wwolst12 (58132) 100% feedback but I think this is a case where we’ll meaning sellers are easily duped by a COA that an 8 year old computer nerd could generate.

That looks pretty good.  I have seen a non-published Snoopy which I felt was real. 

It had come from the man's father who received it from the local newspaper editor

at the paper he worked at.

If this seller was trying to get the max bidding activity, he would have listed it in comic

strip art, wouldn't he?  Edit...I see it now in Original Comic Art, Drawings and Sketches.

Could be a sleeper!

I might have missed out on this one. Snoopy is just hard for me to trust unless published. I tried to feel comfortable bidding but..,,.

It's a later one which are pretty uncommon.  I have no record of that one selling.

That is how I look at sketches as well.  With so many fakes in the market it is hard to take a chance and get burned.

So either someone is going to double or triple their money or it's a counterfeit. It looked real to me but I'm no expert on Peanuts authentication.

I am pretty certain it was a real piece.  Likely a good deal but I don't care for the later pieces.You can see how much shakier Schulz's penwork was.

Agreed I could have checked a box buying it but it wasn’t the one for me. I think I want one from 1968, the year baby grapeape made his first appearance.
