An appreciation thread for Novelty Press, who started off with Target Comics in 1940 and had some of their titles continued by Star Publications after they went defunct in 1949, their longest-running series having been Target Comics, Blue Bolt, and Frisky Fables.

Yes, does any boardies have nice copies of their Target 7 with the classic Wolverton Spacehawk cover?  :luhv:

According to the HA archives, it looks like it has now been well over 15 years since a nice copy of this book has come out into the marketplace.  Makes me wonder how a relatively HG (i.e. 7.0 grade or higher) copy would do in today's much hotter classic cover GA marketplace.  hm  :taptaptap:

I would take a not-so-nice copy!  I consider myself lucky to have a coverless copy of #5...

Anequally tough book to find as the Wolverton Target 7, but the one that appears even rarer (well, at least according to the CGC Census Population Report) than both of these is the Target 8 with the bright beautiful motorcycle cover.  :luhv:   :takeit:
