Nice colors and gloss on the front. Inside back cover has two small pieces of clear tape covering tears along the bottom edge (you can see them showing through the back cover). Interior pages are undamaged. Thanks!

I would estimate 4.0 to 4.5. The lower edge of the back cover is the largest concern. I think with the G.A. edge that is often in effect it could get a 4.5, and the front cover gloss is really attractive.

Thanks guys, appreciated. I'd feel safer at 3.5 than 4.0 with all the tears, but the eye appeal is definitely there for the grade range.

FYI, this is a cracked-out Voldemort 3.0.

i would have said 3.5, but if Voldy gave it a 3.0 it must be a CGC 2.5

I'm at 3.5 because of the tears and tape, but that LB Cole cover is beautiful...

3.5 for me. 

3.0 seems too low and lower than that is just mean for a great cover. Yeah, the back at the bottom is stained up but I still think 3.5 is reasonable.

Simply from hearsay observed on the boards and not from firsthand experience, it has seemed to me that at one point Voldy was actually tighter than CGC, and at another point the opposite was true. 

I don't think either company is wildly erratic, but their standards do seem to bob and weave a bit from year to year.
