Missing Staples 0

What do you guys think about this..?  I mean missing as in never put in.  I suppose a book with both missing - that had never been stapled - would arguably be a potential gem mint..?

How about if just 1 staple is missing - does that devalue..?

I don’t think it would devalue a book as it would be noted as a manufacturing error. Would depend on the collector. I own a few and I actually like having the odd book in my collection but there are those who prefer their books without such flaws

Manufacturing errors typically keep a comic out of Mint/Gem Mint range. A comic with 0 staples is almost assuredly never going to be in Gem Mint condition.
