It was a good deal Jim. Tough to pass up. I would say it has all of its original gloss more or less, shiny staples, clean back cover, very little spine stress...just that darn chip.

Here is another great book with an unfortunate crease CGC is going to hammer it, but I need it to complete my run. An otherwise F/VF ST 23 I had has a similar crease on the lower right corner (maybe a bit bigger) and it cam back a 5.5, my gut says thats where this one is going to end up also:

A CGC 8.5 WM sold on Comiclink in May. I thought I bought it, clicked the buy it now, entered my info etc.

 

A day later I received an e-mail saying it was sold minutes before I completed my order...

 

Probably won't see it for sale again for a long time. Oh well...

...that's my one real complaint about their site..... a buy it now should instantly remove that pssibility..... and it has happened to me a couple of times also. GOD BLESS...

A nice one to be sure! I always thought that bottom vignette "The City" was pretty creepy too!

I'd like to have a high grade of this..... this is a Northford, but one of the mid grades. At least it has that gloss and those pages. Some really wild stories in this one.... "The Terrible Tatoo" is crazy. GOD BLESS...

This one is relatively scarce and popular. I have seen a few, but not too many. I believe Clink had one in a recent auction. This is a very nice example. Congrats.
