Word has it that this is the first Black Suit Spider-Man... and in a sense, the first appearance of an idea that led to the creation of Venom.   Hmmm might be pushing it there  

I'm guessing the first app of Secret Wars too?   Crazy what collectors consider first appearances these days.

A violent,early rip off of Wolverine by Tim Vigil... which led to an even more popular, violent, Wolverine rip off by Tim Vigil... called Faust.

I personally feel that time would have been kinder to this title if all the issues' covers had the same set up as issue 2.   Just my opinion though.
