I think he meant to point out for all the expense it took to make Endgame, its return on investment was 1.99X budget vs with a small film like Joker it turned out to be 2.11X.

A good point he made in the 2019 Year of Disney with multiple massive hits. :shy:

It is interesting with Disney productions how Anthony D'Alessandro seems to lean toward the lower-end figures (like his beloved Star Wars franchise). Yet with non-Disney, seems to go for the higher-end estimates.

Avengers: Endgame had a Print & Ad Marketing Budget just slightly above an MCU solo film? Along with Avengers: Infinity War being $150M?

on profitability, yes. even then, it was far from obvious that Lion King, with $200MM greater BO, would have lower profitability than Frozen 2. Anna & Elsa did not get the residuals that Favreau did.
