GL pick-up

So whenever i spot an issue i don't have....which is a lot really...and i've got a few bucks to spare...which isn't often for back issues, i'll pick up a GL to fill in a hole.

 

 

this arrived in the mail today, via ebay. will need an upgrade when i can find one, but for now, this is my earliest issue in an attempt to complete the entire series and it's one of my fave Kane covers.

For some reason I never really got into Silver Age GL. Could be I'm missing out.

and yah..it bothered me that marvel and dc both had a character named dazzler and they both used essentially the same character logo...disco ball-esque...

 

dc had it first though i think....so marvel should hang it's corporate head in shame....

DCs Dazzler came out about a dozen years before Marvels,and ten years before disco.If both companies can have a Captain Marvel,why not duo-Dazzlers?
