How hard do you hammer the tanning and the tear on the lead edge of the front cover?

The tanning doesn't seem horrible to me; it looks pretty normal for books from this era. 

And except for the tear and the spine stress, the rest of the book looks pretty nice. 

Hopefully I'm not losing my mojo, but I really have no problem being at 5.5 - 6.0 on this one...
