Guns emblem that very lightly breaks the ink.

1st print, direct edition copy of Superman #73 (2nd series).  This issue features the 2nd appearance by Doomsday.

I believe this comic to be in Very Fine minus condition, or better (only because I can't see ink-breakage that may be there).  There is light blunting of the spine corners, as well as a number of small spine stress creases/ticks.  It is difficult to see if they break ink on the white background.  A press will do wonders though.  The front cover shows a couple of ‘wrinkles’, possibly production related, in spots on the large green ‘Superman’ word.  There are also a couple of very mild finger bends that can be pressed out.

Memorial edition copy of Superman #75 (2nd series).  This issue features the death of Superman, as well as Doomsday.  It includes the original polybag and all the goodies that came with the comic.

I believe this comic to be in Very Fine minus condition, or better.  This comic shows very light wear on the spine, and no tears at the staples.  There is light blunting of the spine corners, as well as a handful of spine stress creases/ticks that lightly break the ink.  The comic did suffer from being in the polybag for so many years.  The front cover has a defect (see photo below) that appears to be a piece of paper that is stuck to it, or a chip in the paper itself.  It could be production related, but I’m not sure.  The back cover has some light wrinkling/waviness from the stress creases that can be pressed out.
