hey gang.  New to cgc. Long time collector.  How much of a point deduction are spine ticks? First time submitting books.

The more perfect your book is otherwise, the greater the relative penalty for any individual defect.  For example if your book was otherwise a 5.0, I don’t know if those defects would affect the grade at all.  But if your book was otherwise a 9.8 or higher, the penalty for those defects would be higher.

 

there is a sub forum here on these boards where people post pictures and scans of their comics and ask for opinions on grading.  Consider taking some more pictures and posting them in that sub forum.  Dig around a bit, you’ll find it.
