My Rangers Comics

Finally got the last of my books back from CGC, and thought I would brag a little on the boards -- I have loved Fiction House books forever. And I am finally getting a decent collection of the series I like the best, good old Rangers Comics.

 

The only ones I lack are a nice copy of 24 and 25 ... they'll show up one of these days.

 

And poor me ... I have two copies of #29, the worst of which is a pathetic 8.5 ... <assume Jonathan Harris voice> oh the pain, the pain ...

Since I know the entire civilized world is breathlessly awaiting updates on my comic collection ...

 

I've had some luck filling in holes and making updates to my Rangers books. Here's the current list:

 

 

14 - 9.2 (Crippen)

17 - 8.5 (Crippen)

19 - 9.6 (Penn)

21 - 8.5 (Lost Valley)

22 - 9.2

23 - 9.0 (Church)

24 - 9.4 (Church)

25 - 7.0

26 - 9.5 (Big Apple)

27 - 8.5

29 - 9.4 (Lost Valley)

31 - 9.2

33 - 8.5

35 - 8.5

36 - 9.4 (Church)

38 - 8.5 (Rockford)

39 - 9.6 (Bethlehem)

 

 

For me, issue 39 is the last in the run, since the western theme covers just don't do it for me.

 

 

Of the 17 books:

 

7 -- highest in the census

4 -- tied for highest

 

Still looking for a super HG copy of issue 25 - then I can rest awhile.

Ah, the underwater scenes (you pervert !). I do love the #33 with the lady in the skimpy blue two-piece, and with a diving helmet that lets us see her hairdo.
