Is it normal I am paying handling and shipping for each different SS book being sent for the same signing?

Hi, this will be my first time sending in books for the signature series and time is of the essence (the deadline for Baguley is soon). I am sending in 2 different books, Amazing Spider-man 361 and 362. I have to make an indivuduel order for each one since they are different issues. But when it comes time to calculate shipping and handling, I get charged a seperate handling and shipping fee for each book. Is that normal? Do you not combine shipping for books sent for the same signing session?

Good morning, thanks for your message.  You don't have to complete two different orders unless you are submitting for two different signings or are doing a signing and a regular submission, etc.  If both books are being submitted for the same signing then you can put them both on the same order and it will generate only one packing slip.  If you have different services for each book, for example pressing and grading on one and grading only on the other, then it will separate them into two different invoices on that same packing slip.  In that case, you would be charged separate shipping fees as they will be completed at separate times.  However, you can request to have different invoices for the private signings to be shipped back together.  You would just need to notate that on your packing slip.  This is available only for the private signings, however.

If you have any questions, you can reach our customer service department at 877-662-6642 or by email at submissions@cgccomics.com

Thank you!

Thanks! That answers the question well. Also, something else I noticed while trying it out, I am charged seperate shipping fees if I select different custom labels. Of course, I would use the same tactic you described but just wanted to inform you of what turned out to be my specific problem.
