CGC Holder Not Holding Book Properly? 0

Hello CGC!

I have an over sized  graded comic book (Raphael #1) and noticed two potential issues:

1) the pages seem to be opening inside the slab:

2) there is a small gap on the top spine.

I am worried these issues could damage the book in the long run. How should I handle this? Reholder maybe?

Good morning,

Thanks for your message.  If the book required one of our Magazine size holders then that is normal for that type of holder.  Magazine holders are sealed a little differently than the regular comic holders and are only sealed at the corners and not all the way around which will result in some minor gaps at the sides.  If you feel that your book falls outside of the norm for these holders, please email some additional pictures over to our customer service department for review.  You can email us at submissions@cgccomics.com.
