Randall Dowling Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 Beautiful examples, sir! Freas is such an under appreciated guy despite most pulp collectors knowing who he was. His work deserves a thread of it's own. Here's my mild contribution. Pat Calhoun and OtherEric 2

jimjum12 Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 I met him at a comic show at William and Mary College in the early 70's ... he was very personable and had art with him. Very detailed paintings in the $ 150 neighborhood... which was a fortune back then. GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) N e r V 1
N e r V Posted August 19, 2020 Author Posted August 19, 2020 Freas was dedicated to the success of the American space program. He was asked by NASA to design the official crew patch for the Skylab 1 mission. He went on to create a series of posters promoting the space program and space exploration, which he painted and published on his own hook. Randall Dowling, comicjack and jimjum12 3
