Journey into Mystery #99 CGC 8.5: $550

To the best of my knowledge, this book was not pressed.

Very solid 8.5, this was my personal copy for the last years until I recently "upgraded" to a higher grade. Strangely though, this copy looks better than the upgrade and I would rather keep it but I need full stamps on my books which is why I am offering this one. If you can live with the slight miscut right edge, you will be very happy with this book.

Full stamps?  What are you referring too?  Grading is such an art, not a science.

I find so many stinkers in CGC containers, I sometimes keep lesser graded raws, that have nicer colors and whiter whites.  And gloss, instead of pressing sludge.

Avengers lot: $20 for the six books SOLD VIA PM

Lot includes:

#191: 9.0 Byrne art

#192: 9.0

#194: 9.0

#197 copy A: 9.2

#197 copy B: 9.0

#198: 8.5

I am 99% certain that #191,192 and 197(A) have been pressed. Price hammered because of that. At about $3 per book, seems like a good deal

Marvel Premiere #8 VF : $15 SOLD VIA PM

Starlin art

Looks NM-/NM from the fc scan but has a ncb impact ding on lower left corner of front cover and a small, almost unnoticeable non-color stain on bc near the word "money". Extremely improvable if you're into that.

Tales of Suspense #96 CGC NM- 9.2: $150

Book was NOT pressed (I did submit it myself).

Not all CGC 9.2's are created equal and this one is a far superior copy compared to other CGC books that I own of the same or even higher grade. Really thought this one would be an easy 9.4 as it looks better than many 9.4's copies that I have seen or that you can currently find available for sale. My loss, your gain on this gorgeous book. Crack it and put it in a Mylar. I did include a scan of the book when it was raw.
