EastEnd1
Not sure if anyone else has brought this up, but I'm processing some Ebay orders I got in over the holiday weekend and have just noticed that the buyer's registered email address is no longer shown on the "view order details" screen. There seems to be an encoded Ebay email address now. I just got switched over to Managed Payments and am guessing it's a change that came with that since Paypal has been cut out Edited September 8, 2020 by EastEnd1 misspelled word
mattn792
No surprise really, I would chalk it up to eBay doing everything it can to prevent users contacting each other privately to circumvent eBay's fees. Hollywood1892

CJ Design
Hmmm, But don't you see the address when you print a label?
James J Johnson
Whoever brings buyer and seller together, facilitating business, deserves their cut for providing the means to do so. Part of doing business. You sell at a physical location, you pay your landlord/ You sell online? You pay your landlord. Same thing.
EastEnd1
Interestingly, the buyers phone number is still there. If you hit the "info" icon, it says the new encoded email address is to reduce fraud and violations of Ebay policies.

I guess we call and ask them for their email addresses. I see that my buyers have had their email addresses randomized, also. Ok with me, not really a problem. I also see that the addresses are still available in File Exchange: http://bulksell.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?FileExchangeCenter At least for now.
