Timber Wolf + Wolverine = Tambourine

Booster Gold + the Juggernaut = the Boogernaut

Fantastic Elastic Plastic (FEP, for short) would actually be a type of plastic - Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene

Peter David held an amalgam contest in the CBG 20+ years ago. The toughest rule was NO Marvel or DC characters (I cheated). My entries:

1. Cry For Dondi 

2. Turok, Son of Sam

3. Our Barney at War (Barney the dinosaur with bandoliers)

4. THE Captain and the Kids (orig Capt. Marvel V. the Katzenjammers)

5. Dale Evangeline, Queen of the West

6. Tazzler (Dazzler and Tasmanian Devil)

If I remember correctly, the winner was Betty and Verotika. It was a fun column!

Wait! Now I remember; you then had to match up your amalgams against each other. I went 1 v 5 (bad girls); 3 v 4 (WWII); 2 v 6 (disco). 

I was into it. I drew pictures!
