A great pickup, Jimbo!  I would love to track down a copy of that one as well, one of the only themed collections of Lovecraft's work Arkham really ever did.

This one had as many as 17 watchers, as I hemmed and hawed, and I've learned the hard way that mucho watchers equals" hustle up or lose out. " I wish I could even dream of putting together the Lovecraft Arkham's, but Outsider alone is a sobering aspiration. GOD BLESS ...

Got this on an eBay auction at what I thought was a great price. t was supposed to be more, in my mind. I have liked Gahan Wilson's art since I first started "borrowing" Pop's Playboys. On top of that, it's the sharpest condition yet of my handful of Arkhams. GOD BLESS ...

As far as 70's artists go, one of my favorites has been S Fabian, ever since my introduction to him on the covers of RBCC. I wondered what became of him until I started paying attention to Arkham House. GOD BLESS ...

Fabian is wonderful.  Two of his original Arkham House cover paintings hang on my walls.

Arkham House did not do his painting justice when they decided to reproduce it in a monochrome blue.
