concert poster pressing

Hi all- Apologize for the potentially obvious question here... but I do not seem to be able to find any topics or forums here dedicated to concert poster grading. My specific questions relate to poster PRESSING, but not sure where to post this. The board appear to be primarily about comics, since poster grading is relatively new. Anyway, logged a call in to CGC today to ask a few questions about pressing, and while the customer service person was VERY friendly and helpful, she did not even know that CSS offered pressing for concert posters! That gave me some pause, because my inquiry was about pressing vs screening vs whether or not it was worth it, given the extra time and expense it requires. So any thoughts about where this could be posted, or if anyone has any advice here on poster pressing, that would be great. I certainly appreciate it. Attached is a photo of one of my posters... that has an obvious corner issue. I wonder what, if anything, the pressing can do for this?

Good morning,

Thanks for your message.  We do offer pressing for the select concert posters we grade (you can find a listing of those here: https://www.cgccomics.com/posters/).  If you are not sure if your poster would benefit from pressing, we do offer a screening service.  Screening is 1% of the declared value of your poster.  If the poster passes screening we would proceed with pressing and you would then be charged the additional pressing fees.  You can find those here: https://www.cgccomics.com/submit/services-fees/ccs-pressing/ (scroll down for posters).  You can refer to our pressing page to see the types of issues that pressing can help with https://www.cgccomics.com/ccs-pressing/

Based on your picture, it appears that the corner damage has broken color on the poster so that would not be something that pressing can fix, unfortunately.  If you have any other questions, please let us know.  Thank you!
