Is this not just the same people as comicart-l?

I know. I Need some more vintage Kirby art.

Clem, that is a GORGEOUS Cap pinup!! I recall that Chris C. showed a scan to me a while back. Were you the owner or did you pick it up in the past year?

Hi Steve,

Yes. I pick up this pin-up this year. The figures drawn on some of these twice up pin-ups are bigger than most covers. Most covers use the top third for the title logo. I still think pin-ups are underrated.

Could'nt see myself picking up a Kirby Cap A twice up cover for the same price.

Clem.... Btw Steve. Nice gallery you got there. Love the 3 page Kirby Thor battle sequence.

Hi Clem,

Not too long ago, there weren't many original art collectors on these boards. Now we have our own forum here, and there are more and more original art collectors contributing to threads. Really, I'm starting to like these boards better than the comicart-L list, which frankly has been pretty boring for the past half year.

I don't put much on my CAF gallery, but my website is on my sig line.

By the way, can everyone just add their real name to their sig line (like I do)? One of the best things about this hobby is the sense of community, and getting to know other people with similar interests. As the thread says, let's get rid of the anonymity. Our hobby will be stronger for it.

I love the format for this online boards. I like the fact that you can add pics etc. Your also encouraged to write more often. I agree that we should use our real names if we feel compelled to do so in the interest of a stronger comic art community.

Hi Guys:

I suppose I should come out of my lurker mode and say "hi" to everyone. My name is Lambert Sheng and I've been collecting comic art on and off (mostly on) since 1986. I am a member the Comicart-L list where I've been "vigorously" lurking for a few years wink.gif I came over here when my good buddy Dave Matteini (DAM60) told me about this board. Now I see other friends such as Hari quite active here. I must say I've learned some things here that I didn't know such as "Online Posting Devalues Your Art." Imagine that! Who knew?!?! wink.gif haha! only kidding!

Anyway, by way of introduction, here's my CAF gallery.

Thanks!

Lambert
