Loose cover question 0

I am completely new to grading, (collected for about 20 years and just got back into it). I bought this book for $10, pretty well sight unseen, (saw the cover but that was it) They said it had a loose cover and when holding it I can see what they meant but I'm not sure what is making it loose. with that info and the accompanying pics, what do you guys think this would grade? Thanks for the help!

Looks like the holes where the staples attach are a bit stretched giving the cover that loose feel. From the pics, I’d put it at 7.5 from the other flaws I can make out

1st of all congrats on the find and it’s a newsstand which is more rare as for the loose cover I don’t see anything loose and I would say 8.5 after press

Looks like it was stapled poorly. Could be anywhere from 7.5-8.5 IMO.

A clean and press could help this book a lot. Looks like a bit of spine roll which can be fixed and might help with the looseness. I think it could be 8.5 or so after pressing.
