comic.rob Posted December 15, 2020 Share Posted December 15, 2020 Yes, related to what Avi said, you'll want to avoid using overhead or direct lighting, and use indirect lighting (like those uplights you can buy at Target), or have something "diffuse" the light - like a lampshade. One approach I take in a room where I only have overhead lights is to prop the book up against the wall so it's almost fully upright. This way there is no light shining from directly behind the camera, so you can usually position it to have reflection and shadow free pictures.
