Anyone remember Comic Odyssey in Pasadena, CA 1 1

I loved this shop and it was my favorite comic shop of all time. I was a Wednesday subscriber and visited regularly on weekends. I became acquaintances with a Thai employee due to a mutual friend. Hope he’s ok. He was a smoker. The owner, Kenny So, had a big dog walking freely around the shop. It was a true shop w cards on one side and glass showcases of statues, frequently replenished back issues bins, manga, wall figures, and fairly priced key issues. They were always open to do deals behind the counter for awesome customers. It separated from the gaming in 2011 and eventually became what’s now Collector’s Paradise.

I bought some of the glass display covers in the past.

Never was a big fan of comic shops with manga card playing kids all over.

I definitely remember Comic Odyssey! Loved it and it became my regular LCS because of all the things you mentioned. I’m still with Collectors Paradise, they’re cool as well. 
 There was definitely a noticeable difference between the card customers and comics customers....
