25,000 for something the size of a post-it note. Probably one of the dumbest comics related purchases I have ever seen....and that's coming from a huge Frazetta fan.

It's not listed as a current or completed auction. He stated he had an offer of 20K and did have it relisted with a BIN of 25K. Can't seem to track it down.

Have to disagree with you on this one. For 20-25K you can buy much better Frazetta material. Profiles in History sold a beautiful Canaveral plate for that very amount earlier this year. That's a full 8x10 of goregeous brush work by Frank. Don't get me wrong, the prelims are gorgeous but should really go for 5-10K.

Not me. I dont collect plates. My great aunt had a plate collection, and she was a loon.

4-5K is about what the market is for a piece like this. Classic painting and a nice watercolor. He shot himself in the foot by listing it at 50K and then dropping the price like a lead balloon.
