Just watched it.

There are two twists to the story. I'll leave that for other people to figure out.

6.5/10 for me but worth the one-time viewing to see Stallone going at it in a different style.

5 out of 10 for me.

unfortunately has many of the things I usually have problems with:

-child actor - it just doesn't work for me, it is rare that it does

-over the top acting

-Stallone is good but I didn't really like anyone else.

**Yes it is better than Rocky V.

It was terrible. If not for the twist at the end I would put it lower.

I liked it well enough.  The kid was annoying, plot was weak and the film went a bit too long, but the twists helped a bit. I wasn't expecting much and wasn't disappointed.

The fights  got a bit out of hand but by then,  it didn't matter.

Watched it over the weekend and it was alright.  There were parts that were good and other parts that were just bad.  Doubt I would watch it again.

Psy.

Just watched and feel the same. Worse ways to spend an hour+ but watcheable, not really re-watcheable. Did pretty well guess the "twist" early on.

Okay, is it better than Thor Love and Thunder? If yes, I may watch it.

It's like asking which do I want... to be stabbed in the eye, or a swift kick to the groin.

Stallone gives a big middle finger to the casting agents of the MCU, and the DC MU.  He goes out and does his own super hero film.

We salute you sir.

Ok it's 4/10 salute, but a salute non the less.

Yes, it is more fitting to the character he is portraying.

It's a street-level story with no world-ending consequences. Just a local hero focus with some twists to the third act. But not a deep story, which some are overreacting to in marking it much lower. If the MCU had done this movie, they'd probably give it a 7.0 because it would include Taika appearing as a living garbage pale that tells prig and fart jokes.

I thought Stallone was quite good in it. I thought the bad guy was straight out of the 80’s. I watched it and felt I got 90 minutes of entertainment- it was worth it just to see Stallone doing an action flick at his age.

Amazing how fit he still looks even at 76 years old

I watched Nighthawks yesterday. Hard to believe that movie is 42 years old.

Oh yeah, he’s aged well. At 76 he totally pulled off the old grisled hero. I think you could fold him into any Marvel-level movie as an older hero and he’s be great.

Unfortunately, he was already in Guardians of the Galaxy 2
