Stickers on covers of Batman #181's

For my 1st submission ever I plan on sending in these 2 comics from my children hood. I want to add clean and press but was hoping that they would be able to take off the sticker that's on each cover. There's one right behind Batman's head on one cover and one in the middle of the logo on the other. The stickers are about as old as the comics and should be able to come off pretty easily. Is that something they will do and if so how do I tell them to do that? But another question would also be does anyone think the removal of stickers could make it worse?

Yeah the conditions are hopefully 4's with some help. They were well loved. I should have took better care of them and my Silver Surfer #4 growing up. We didn't even use backer boards back in those days. I just read the bit about tape removal for Silver Aged comics on the CCS front page. But these aren't as sticky as tape and should come off fairly easy. Is there a commit section where I can ask them to be removed?

Can't really discern the grade of the comic when it's in the bag.

That said, CCS can remove stickers. Sometimes, maybe the company pressing your books can do it too? @joeypost

Stickers can be removed. The removal is the easy part. The damage left behind is determined by the skill of the one removing the sticker, or if the glue has caused any long term staining or deterioration if the underlying inks.

You can probably remove it yourself with a hair dryer and being careful. With the condition of that book, I wouldn't pay extra for something like that. It's not hard if you're careful. The glue has more than likely lost much of it's grip.
