Near Run of Classics Illustrated For Sale!! CLOSED 1 1

Today I have for you a near run of Classics Illustrated, lot contains 149 of 169 issues plus three duplicates, more than half are 1st Editions.  Some books were part of a one owner collection (may be marked with the initials "RC") who collected as a child and he later filled in some missing issues from other sources.

The collector grew up in Eastern MA, eventually moved to mid-Maine area where he lived until he passed away last year.  I picked up these and some books that were listed in my previous thread this week(not the LB Coles but everything else).  Some of the missing issues may have been pulled and sold back in the 90s when he was raising some money for one of his kids(same thing happened to the 1957 Bowman & Topps baseball cards I got with the collection).

I accept first unconditional & unedited  with item info here in the thread or PM, text, email, phone call or smoke signal from comicdonna, timestamp wins(I get emails of all posts and PMs for timestamps). Payment due within 7 days of invoice unless arranged before "I'll Take It", I think it's reasonable to expect if you post then you have the time to pay in the stated time frame unless otherwise arranged. I accept Paypal, checks, MOs(sorry no International money orders), I DO NOT accept sexts from Ryan. as payment(though I'll take them otherwise).   I'll accept returns mailed within 7 days if item is not as described, undisclosed restoration within 30 days, no returns on slabs. No HOS or Probation list members please. These rules aren't meant to be hard@ss but some are board requirements and some result of having to deal with many situations that have popped up over the years, and we are both better off setting the expectations!

Overall books are solid and represent well for the grades, general wear, see spreadsheet for any grading notes, some may have "15" cent stamp on front or back cover.  Issues 1-98 are currently individually bagged but not taped shut, the rest will be bulk bagged for shipment, if you want them all bagged/boarded contact me for options as I can provide regular bags/boards or Mylites/Fullbacks.

Spreadsheet below has list of books and includes issue#, HRN#, Grade, Edition#, Guide Price per OSPG for reference.  There are a few on the list that have coupon cut out back cover as noted(no price added for those).  There are (86) 1st Edition books and (66) later Editions.

Believe it or not, I bought entire lots ( sometimes 20-30 books ) just to get a hold of a few missing issues. The plus side was I'd get to select the better looking keepers from the duplicates.

An under appreciated series; I’ve been reading them since I was a kid and still try to pick up the occasional issue. Good luck with the sale; that’s a fantastic pile of comics history there.
