Sorry that took so long, had a few computer issues

 

Amazing Spiderman 3 COPY A  sort of

I bought this in a big collection a few years ago and wasn't sure what to do with it. The 1st picture is what it looked like then. I took the book apart  a long time ago and planned to do something with it, as with many of my projects I never got to it. The rest of the pics are what it looks like now. I took all of the massive amounts of tape off, it really kind of fell off and really didn't damage the book at all.

The Bad: Ripped completely in half, guess they couldn't quite do a phonebook(if you remember what those were) and took it out on Spidey. It is also missing the Pinup page.

The Good: The paper is pretty nice and supple, the story is complete, a few pieces out of the cover edges but mostly all there. If you do puzzles and resto this is for you. I will also include the original staples.

I've taken pics of how the wraps fit together and you can see it should restore pretty well and it's almost all there (again NO pinup page)

Cheapest ASM 3 out there, cheaper than a coverless. The way you see it is the way you get it. None of the pieces have been put back together, I just took pics of the top and bottom of the wraps so you can see whats there.

The Bad:  several panels have been cut out and replaced (taped in) with panels from one of the reprint issues, Marvel Tales or Collectors Item Classics not sure which, but they are not original. They have been cut out of 3 story pages, 10/11, 16/17, 18/19 obviously both sides so panels have been replaced on both sides, hope that makes sense. A couple of panels on each page are affected.

The Good: VGish cover, centerfold is unaffected by cutouts, story is complete with replacement panels.

A coverless copy will cost you almost this much:

The Good: Without the missing stuff it would be a very nice VG+, centerfold is solid

Without the missing stuff probably a $3500 copy. Coverless copies sell in the $500 range and this copy has a very nice cover. Take it for
