Don't slab unless you are planning in selling in the near term, and even then it's a borderline call as to whether the cost and effort is worth it.

Or slab if you are one those collectors who prefer to have your Golden Age encased in plastic. The upside is it gives them literal heft, and makes them feel more substantial, are somewhat protected,  and they are ready to go if you decide to sell. The downside is that they take up extra space and are less accessible, and while the new cases are clearer than the old ones, the thickness still tends to dull the vibrancy of colors in a way that mylar does not.
