Grade my Amazing Spidey #9 PLEASE!!!

28 posts in this topic

The grade is handwritten at the top of the BC:

2.0 sumo.gif

Let your conscience be your guide . . . 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

So I guess since they go two decimal places over they must use the super system. Just think being able to have a book grade 9.99. popcorn.gif How about a 0.01? Would that just be some paper that at one time was in the same building as the one where the comics were manufactured? Hmmmm... juggle.gif

Now where was that humor when you and I had our own little flame war? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

It comes and goes insane.gif. Depending on the subject I suppose. To be honest I try and avoid them but they seem to follow me whereever I go. ...I managed to get a thread locked on CPG yesterday. 27_laughing.gif893applaud-thumb.gif

Really, what did you do? Actually make a post? Dude, that plaec is a ghost town and they only have to thank themselves for it.

27_laughing.gif, it was on politics. That always gets me going. I'm a hard core and I got into it with a one of the Admin's there who is a socialist. 893blahblah.gif893blahblah.gif Many posts later it ended with me calling him a "Grade A example of person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed baggery". cloud9.gifacclaim.gif Then instant *LOCK DOWN* yay.gif

Fun times.

I'll sell you all my "vg" copies if you actually believe that this copy makes the grade.

I see some reasonable grading out there.

This copy is in no way a VG as the creasing alone precludes that and drops it to a G/VG at best.

The back cover is a G and the front is a G/VG at best without the piece missing.

I say it's a G+ 2.5.

Just my humble opinion.

$212 in VG. I think 4.0 is a fair grade on this book.

I will of course take it for the price on the back $2.00

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think it was reduced from $250 to $200?

From $2.50 to $2.00. Back in the 70's, lots of dealers put the price of a book on the back cover (mostly in pencil).

Probably 90% of all books at shows in 70's weren't in any bags.
