Never collected CGC before - Is there anything I should be on the lookout for? Do fakes/replicas exist?

Hello everyone... I mainly collect and sell comic statues however a potential buyer has offered me his ASM #46 CGC 6.0 Shocker and ASM #41 CGC 4.5 Rhino for one of my statues. He advised that the current value of each are $350 and $500. I am thinking about accepting the deal however I have never purchased a CGC comic before. Is there anything I should be on the lookout for? Thanks in advance! =)

No deal.  He has overstated the value by nearly double.  ASM #46 is about $200 at 6.0 and ASM #41 is about $300 at 4.5.  Research online.  As for fakes, well, be careful of slabs that have been cracked open and the comic changed out.  Not sure how often this happens, but there are videos on the internet that show this occasionally occurs.

If you are going to do this often you should consider getting a subscription to GoCollect https://comics.gocollect.com/ and/or GPA,https://comics.gpanalysis.com/  both have records of sales of CGC slabbed comics. GoCollect offers an estimated FMV too. Both offer a monthly or yearly subscription. There is also a site, Comic Value   at https://www.comicsvalue.com/index.php which is free and shows sales of comics both graded and ungraded. I also agree with MPH1964 current assesment:
