Asm reholder 9.4 will it keep its grade? 2 2

It has bad Newton rings, I’m thinking about returning but felt like I got a good deal considering what it’s going for now, grader notes say light foxing and light creasing. I’m just wondering if the corners would knock down the grade in a reholder.

Newton Rings suck, but are sometimes part of the process...unfortunately.  They can lessen over time, depending on a couple factors.  It’s not a certainty though.

IMO, the grade is a gift at 9.4.  I would leave it be...not worth investing more.  It’s your slab though...

Risk...as CGC does reserve the right to re-inspect a book prior to reholdering ( is that a word?)

This does happen from time to time, and the grade will be adjusted when necessary...

That is a very generous 9.4.  With those small bottom right and top right corner creases alone, it could easily fall into the 9.2 grade.  In my experience, re-holdering has never changed the grade, but there is always a possibility

The following phrase should probably be etched on a stone tablet somewhere: "That book should never be cracked out..."
