Unnamed New Swamp Thing Confirmed in other media by Creators. 0

Greetings CGC, since I am unable to put links on my books for graders to listen and pictures to view,  hopefully I can make the Note requests here. In this podcast, at 11:11 mark, Mike Perkins and Ram V confirm the unnamed Swamp Thing in the last story  in Legend of The Swamp Thing Halloween Spectacular #1 is the 1st appearance Levi Kamei as the Swamp Thing.

In addition, on Mike Perkins original art pages for sale here, page 57 from Legend of The Swamp Thing Halloween Spectacular #1 labels as "This is page from the second of two 8-page bookend stories in this issue and although not mentioned by name, these pages feature the 1st appearance of the new Swamp Thing who hosts Levi Kamei, from India!"

Although the host, Levi Kamei in human form is not introduced until Swamp Thing #1 03/2021, is there a way for CGC to recognize both books in their respective notes? 

Also on the census, I noticed it said the book, Legend of The Swamp Thing Halloween Spectacular #1  was issued 12/2020. However, the book was issued on  October 6, 2020.

Thanks for your message. All First Appearance notations are made at the discretion of the CGC grading team. 

You may check any book on our CGC Census to see what Key Comments, Art Comments and First Appearance notations are currently listed for that book. 

If you do not see a First Appearance notation that you believe should be noted, you may request it.  To request a first appearance update or inclusion of other information to the current label, please include a note both on your printed submission form and also attached to the bag of the specific book (post-it on comic bag) and our graders will review and make a determination on that request during the grading process.

You need to check the indicia (inside small print) for the publication month/year. The day it was actually released is irrelevant because comics have had cover dates that are 2/3 months ahead for decades. The GCD agrees with CGC that this book has a 12/2020 cover date.
