Original Shuster Art Question...

5 posts in this topic

It's too bad. I love Joe Shuster's early art...I wouldn't even feel the need to own it, but it would make me quite happy just to see it.

What is the earliest published Superman OA still around? There must be something still existing (a page, a cover) from the Siegel & Shuster studios, right?

yes. there are a few shuster superman pages around. i had the pleasure of seeing a few in the late 70.s from action comics. i my self at one time had a shuster superman drawing on a brown paperbag. from the 50.s i got rid of it in the early 80.s there was not much of a demand for golden age art.

back in the 70.s 80.s because you did not know who the art was by half the time.

when i 1st started it was all about the kirby.s the adams. kaluta.s and wrightsons

every this else was so-so or thats nice, .
