tbshay
I bought this in my nieve days from a 'Terry C Lutz' on ebay who listed it as unrestored (shame on you Terry!). Besides the tape, there is color touch on the edges. Worth getting slabbed? Should i have the tape removed? Not even sure what i would insure it for... Galen130
3.0 as well. I’d leave the tape alone. Might do more harm than good removing it...IMO. Mars76

Leave the tape, it’s allowed at this grade. Galen130
Mars76
3.0, I'd slab it.
James J Johnson
This, to me, has twice the eye appeal of most CGC 3.0 range 27s I've seen. The spine structure is superior to 3.0, as are the colors, and the absence of the usual smudging in the gray and black areas, giving the atwork a very clean and detailed look is on par with 27s graded way higher than 3.0. IMO, the lowest CGC is going to slab this book with is 4.0, it's too attractive a 27 and solid enough to deserve at least a 4.0. Compare to CGC 3.0s of this book and see what I mean.
