Slyde
I have a JIM #86 that I bought when I was a kid, and I didn't do a great job of inspecting it before I bought it (so focused on the front cover). The back cover has a chunk that was torn off, and was placed inside the book, I suppose to give the next owner the option to re-attach it. I am looking for any recommendations on what to do with it. For context, I would grade this book at a 4.0-4.5 if this piece was not missing. I was planning to submit to CGC. Should I just leave the book as-is, and throw away the little piece? The two pics show the area that is missing, one with the piece overlaid.
steveinthecity
If you’re going to keep the detached piece maybe just place it in a small envelope and keep with the comic. A small glassine envelope might be preferable as the detached piece would be visible inside. Slyde
