What to do with detached piece?

I have a JIM #86 that I bought when I was a kid, and I didn't do a great job of inspecting it before I bought it (so focused on the front cover). The back cover has a chunk that was torn off, and was placed inside the book, I suppose to give the next owner the option to re-attach it. I am looking for any recommendations on what to do with it. For context, I would grade this book at a 4.0-4.5 if this piece was not missing. I was planning to submit to CGC.

Should I just leave the book as-is, and throw away the little piece? The two pics show the area that is missing, one with the piece overlaid.
